Viking Shred Guitar Suite: House Rules (Terms of Service)
Welcome to the Forge. My goal is to turn you into a technical powerhouse. To keep this community thriving and protect the craft we’re building together, I have a few "House Rules" (the legal stuff) that apply to everyone who enters the Suite.
1. Your License to Shred
When you buy my course, you’re getting a personal license to access and learn from the material.
-
For You Only: This license is for your personal, non-commercial use.Â
-
The "No-Sharing" Policy: Please don't share your login. Think of it like a gym pass - it’s for one person. If our system detects multiple simultaneous logins from different locations, access may be paused.
2. Intellectual Property (The Craft)
-
Ownership: All videos, tabs, and guides are the property of Guitar 21.
-
Digital Asset Protection: All downloadable content - including but not limited to PDFs, Guitar Pro files, and Tone Presets (Kemper, Amplitube, Fractal, etc.) -Â are for your personal use only.
-
The "No Reposting" Rule: You are strictly prohibited from uploading, sharing, or reposting these files to any public forum, "patch-sharing" site, cloud drive, or social media group. These assets are a core part of the Suite's value; sharing them externally is a violation of this agreement and may lead to the termination of your account.
-
The Line in the Sand: You are encouraged to use these techniques and tones in your own music and performances! You can even post videos of your progress as you work on my material. However, you cannot film your own course, start a coaching program, or create "derivative" products using my specific proprietary methods or materials without written permission or license.
-
No AI Training: You may not use any part of this course to train AI models or machine learning algorithms. Let’s keep the soul in the music and education.
3. Refunds & Satisfaction
I want you to be 100% happy with your progress.
-
The 7-Day Guarantee: If the course isn’t a fit, let me know within the first 7 days. I’ll ask if you’ve at least given the exercises a shot, and if it's still not right, I'll issue a full refund.
4. Health & Safety (Listen to Your Body)
Shredding is an athletic pursuit.
-
Play Smart: While these techniques are designed to be ergonomic, I am not a doctor. If you feel sharp pain, numbness, or extreme fatigue, stop and rest. * Responsibility: By using this course, you agree that you are responsible for your own physical well-being. Neither Chris Brooks nor Guitar 21 is liable for injuries (like RSI or Tendinitis) resulting from over-practice or incorrect application.
5. Community Conduct
-
Be a Peer, Not a Troll: Harassment, hate speech, or spamming will result in immediate removal without a refund. We’re here to sharpen each other, not tear each other down.
6. Availability
-
The "Sunsetting" Promise: If I ever decide to take the course offline for good, I won’t just leave you hanging. I will provide a window for you to download the materials so you can keep your progress forever.
7. The Parting of Ways (Termination)
We’re all here for the music, but I reserve the right to revoke access to the Suite if the House Rules are broken.
Serious Violations: If you are found to be leaking digital assets (PDFs, Presets, Tabs), sharing your login, or harassing other members, your account will be closed immediately.
Refund Status: Because these actions cause direct harm to the course and the community, no refund will be issued in cases of termination due to a material breach of these terms.
Fair Warning: For minor issues, I’ll always try to reach out and settle things with a conversation first. But once a blade is broken, it's broken.
8. The Living Curriculum (Product Updates)
Shred technique isn’t static, and neither is this course. To ensure you are always getting the most effective, "battle-tested" instruction, I reserve the right to update the content.
-
Evolution in Good Faith: I may occasionally withdraw older lessons, videos, or assets to substitute them with revised, improved, or more efficient material.
-
The Goal: These updates are always made in good faith to improve your learning experience (like the transition from the "Prelude" to the "Primer").
- No "Grandfathering" of Old Content: By joining the Suite, you acknowledge that the course is a living product and that older versions of lessons may not remain available once they have been upgraded.
9. Updates of Legal Terms
-
Updates: I may update these rules as the course evolves. I’ll always post the most recent version here.
Questions? If you’re unsure if you can use a specific technique in a YouTube lesson or have questions about your account, just reach out at [email protected]. I’m here to help.
